Maybe someday, right now my dad comes up for lunch and I end up buying his lunch in the cafeteria. Other days I tend to work through my lunch and eat at my desk.

The place I work at is going through some strange times, they have fired several people in the past year, some messed up managers still there, etc., so better to stay under the radar and just lay low. Kinda makes you want to look over your shoulder a lot of the time. I don't like it, but the pay is pretty good and with the economy the way it is, I need the job and have been there for 5+ years now, so will try to stay out of their target sights.

Thanks for the idea though.

That sounds like a good plan, Marie. Things are going to be tight for awhile.

But..I hope you're not feeling the stress of needing to look over your shoulder sometimes.flowerforyou

It has been rough lately, they moved me back into a dept. where I am around an old manager who tried to get rid of me about 3 years ago, she is making my life rough, can't go after me officially, but doing things like not allowing me to have keys to the doors to my office (she supervises the office where they put me in a converted closet in the back), etc. I decided to go through my supervisor to resolve this finally, is just stupid, she basically locks me in my office. Just a power trip for her. She really needs to retire, has talked about it for years. She is pushing my buttons, but I plan to win this one.

Thanks for your concern. flowerforyou

Oh, how I don't like those kind of bosses! That is not good if there is a fire. You need those keys.

My supervisor is helping me. Next step is the 2nd in command at the place. Ex-manager is just being a witch. I will get them eventually. Have a good night. Take care.flowerforyou
