mine mean that i have kids all day.. for 3 whole days.. my kids school has fri sat and sunday off.. so when its weekend time.. uugghh!!! 3 day weekend every week!!

not really.. they start school at around the same day as the other schools.. they get out the same day as the other schools.. they do start school at 8 instead of 8:30... but you are picking up onlly 2 hours there... idont get it.. but i guess i dont have to.

Izzie they started doing that while I was in high school, it's a matter of how many total days you are required to attend for a school year. But it was done because of budget cuts, no school buses, janitors, lunch crew, etc. for the one extra day. I loved it in high school, cause we always have Fridays off for game days which you will see in that size of school, it usually empties most of the classes anyway
