I'm 50 years old and I have never been married. Well... I can't really say that anymore, I guess; but it's less than a year old so.... and it's not really a legal marriage. We have discussed officializing it at some point in the future. In case you are wondering what the hell I'm talking about: My boyfriend and I went through a religious type ceremony to keep his parents from having a conniption when they found out about some stuff. It was like... hm, almost a year ago. Wow, how time flies. (They still had a conniption anyway. I guess I can't really blame them. I would certainly not be happy knowing that my child was involved in an unholy liaison with someone like ME.) Anyway, I never really wanted to get married and never felt there was a reason to be. I did live with a guy for 12 years. We broke up in 2000. I don't think you have much to be upset about. Being somewhat lonely is infinitely preferable to being stuck with someone you loathe. yours in recently-married Chaos, Scarlett

Tell me I'm not the only...well, let's just say thirty-"something" woman here who's never been married? Anyone? Anyone? You're the only one. Shame on you! I'm nowhere near ashamed...just thought the "old maid" stuff was over with a long time ago. Geesh! Come to find out, I should have been married and divorced at least one by now. There's always Vegas baby! there you go he can be your first only one thing standin in the way of that!!!

i've never been married and get tired of hearing "why aren't u married" or "whats wrong with u" NOTHING, just haven't found "the ONE" and don't want to get married just so i can say i have been married and divorced. We are rare and smart!!!!

NO!!!! I am 31, attractive as hell, and still have not walked down the aisle. LET ME TELL YOU LIKE THIS: DO NOT BE EMBARASSED AND LOOK AT IT THE WAY I DO. ANY FOOL THAT WAS NOT SMART ENOUGH TO MARRY ME HAS THE FOLLOWING PROBLEMS...THEY ARE HUNGRY(CUZ NOT TOO MANY WOMEN COOK FOR THEIR MAN), THEY ARE BROKE(CUZ NOT TOO MANY WOMEN ARE WILLING TO HELP FINANCIALLY), THEY ARE BEING CHEATED ON(CUZ NOT TOO MANY WOMEN STAY LOYAL), THEY ARE IN A DIRTY HOUSE(CUZ NOT TOO MANY WOMEN CLEAN),THEIR CLOTHES ARE DIRTY(CUZ NOT TOO MANY WASHES THEIR MAN'S LAUNDRY), AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST...THEY ARE WITH SOME AVERAGE OR UGLY WOMAN( CUZ NOT TOO MANY WOMEN CAUSES CARS TO CRASH THE WAY I DO) AND I AM NOT BEING ARROGANT BECAUSE IT HAPPENS MORE OFTEN THAN IT SHOULD.
