When you were born, and starting your life.....
We learned to love.

When you were a toddler, and exploring the world.....
We learned paitence.

When you started school, and spreading your wings.....
We learned to have faith.

Now that you have graduated and are moving into adulthood we have to learn the hardest lesson of all......

To let you go.

I wrote that for my oldest. Put in her graduation announcement, she thought I did it for her. I did it for me, to help with the letting go.

All 3 of mine always will be my babies, warms my heart to hear my son say "Mommy" in his very baratone voice.

I remember the day my son graduated. I kept thinking "where's that little boy?" I'm still trying to let go, but he is turning out to be one hell of a man.

I started to realize mine wasn't a little boy anymore when we were walking down the street and I looked over to say something to him and we were talking eye to eye. That was terrible, no denying it then.
