I got some $#!t on my mind that I need to say, cuz it keeps building up inside day after day.
You can take it personal you can take it anyway, but one thing for certain Im not walkin away,
til I get this off my chest-no I won't rest, so open them ear cuz Im bout to infest
your minds with these rhymes one at a time. Til the whole fvckin world's hypnotized by this dime.
You hear it on the radio, you see it on the news, you feel it on the streets none of this is new.
All this cappin and stabbin glorified by rappin, man what the fvck, how'd we let this $#!t happen!
Kids growin up listenin wantin and wishin that they were thier heros so they're all imitatin.
Bringin guns and knives with them to school, creatin situations cuz we made it look cool.
FOOLS.. Its just as much our, as anyones fault, braggin bout riches or bein charged with assault.
Yeah, so the $#!t sells but we disrespect ourselves, these kids are our future, but were leadin them to hell.

And yet this curse we rehearse verse after verse, recite back and forth til we've just given birth.
To violent disbursments we feed and we nurture until we become part of the problem and worst.
At each others throats cuz the color of skin, the clothes that we wear or the words that we spittin.
Its like a vicious cycle that we chose not to see, we just turn up our noses and to continue to breed it.
Til its right in our back yard, and then we sit and we wonder how things ever got this far.
You think to yourself.. it doesn't involve me, truth of the matter is.. it takes EVERYBODY!
So callin all Ladies and callin all Gents, its come time to put this to an end.
Its time WE stand up... its time WE take charge!!! its time WE decide to excersise the right.
That each of us have the GOD given power, to fight for whats right cuz united we're stronger.
Lets look to the future but remember our youth... Its never too late to start fresh and new...

imo we(ALL) as people need to stop passing the buck on to someone else and take resposibility for our actions... and most importantly responsibility for our inactions!! Ultimatly we hold the power and last word in EVERY choice we make. Standing up and doing the right thing isnt always pretty.. but take a look at the direction society is headed, by our own ignorance.
