Topic: Not Feeling Like Me | |
---|---|
I have not felt like myself lately. I am feeling down, and invisible. I have a great supper planned tonight with a great guy and I am not even looking forward to it. Part of me wants to just cancel, but I know I will regret it if I do.
Has anybody else ever felt this way? And what do you do to bring yourself up? |

i just try to recognize it as a passing phase and that it won't be lasting.
usually a long walk will make me feel better, especially in a conservation area and/or ravine. i hope you snap out of it in time for your date. i'd go anyway, that might be just what you need for a pick-me-up. |

I was thinking the same thing. Might be just what you need to get out of your "funk". I usually try to do something for someone else when I'm feeling that way. Sounds cliche, but it does work. I'm with ya though, been feeling a little invisible myself as of late. Hope your evening turns out great!

I understand completely, with me its the unknown, scarey, will he like me, will everything be as I want it to be, so I just have to come to terms with those fears and carry on, because YOU NEVER KNOW!

{{{{{{{Melissa}}}}}}... baby girl... you have had SOOOOOOOO much on your plate... emotionally, mentally & physically...... it's no wonder you are feeling worn out.
Just for tonight, give yourself permission to put it all aside ... bundle it all up and place it down. Then go forth and just enjoy tonight for what it is: dinner with a person you really enjoy being with! Should something more develope.. then great! If not.. you still had the pleasure of spending time with someone that you like being with. Then.. in the morning.. .should you choose... you can always pick up the bundle of stress and deal with it then. |
