Topic: I can't remember the movie title

I have been trying to remember this movie for about week now ...noone around me knows what the h*ll I'm talking about! This movie is an older one.. I seen it maybe 10-15 yrs ago ...about a guy who was taking care of his mother...she was disabled and he was a little nuts..lol He wanted to be an actor and his mother abused him his whole life. It ended with him on top of a building and screaming.... "I'm on top of the world"! The guy that played in it was skinny,sandy brown hair, weirdly kind of cute,very good actor. Thats about all I can remember except for that it was a good movie. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

All I can think of, is "The who could fly". It's the only one I can think of where some wacked out weirdo is standing on a roof!

nooo ....thats not it... but, thanks for trying! ....there was a part in it where the mother was in a wheel chair and there was an automatic stair lift...and he somehow sent her flying up it real fast.I think she went right out the window....lol

LOL you are not nutz, the plot sounds familiar to me also. But I cant place it. or remember the title.

I can see that d*mn guy on top of the building !(I know he's been in other stuff too) I think he was being shot when he yelled Look mom ...I'm on top of the world (or something like that)

"made it ma, on top of the world!" that line is from White Heat. don't know if its the one you're looking for. everything sounds similar other than the guy wanting to be an actor. in white heat, he's a gangster.

Fade to Black...Dennis Christopher would be the sandy haired guy--- Mickey Rourke had a small part too... Plot summary for Fade to Black (1980) Eric Binford watches a lot of movies. If it's a really old black and white film, it's probably White Heat with James Cagney. Though, that line has been borrowed for several films.

It could have been stuff gets pretty jumbled up in my mind I can't wait to see the movie again, I got a dollar riding on it now!
