Darkness falls
Inhaling I remember
Lingering in a moment
A crushing hug
Such an embrace
I can not forget

Exhaling slowly
Picturing your face
Your scent upon my heart
Closing my eyes
One second
I am there again

To fall asleep
In your pillowed body
A contentness of fluff
Where I wish to stay
Until tomorrow calls
To my dismay

As my eyes flutter
I am lost in dreams with you
Laughing, singing, playing
Until we light a roaring fire
There it's safe to be lost
In my heart's desire

Love blazes safely
The warmth surrounds me
Rays of hope shine
Until a loud alarm
Sounds off to say
It's a brand new day
