I like it when I am in a place that I would feel secure like inside a book store, mall, casino, airport, Walmart, lumberyard, garden nurshery, a community fair where there are cops patrolling. Don't get real close and keep your hands off of me but talking is nice. A comment about what I am looking at/buying. Even asking me a question about what you are buying. If you offered, or just laid down, a business card I might take it and email you something brief. Make it clear you are not trying to hussle a sale maybe put your personal cell number on it. I wouldn't call you at work but if you gave me a cell number I might text you that I am eating lunch near by. Especially if you said I always eat at the place around the corner on Thursdays. cx Suggesting having a soda or a snack in the food court after a how too class. I am not going to want you to follow me around or try to walk out to my car. That would be creepy. I sure don't want you handleing my packages but you could find a clerk and tip them for helping me. Nothing big, it is more the gesture. Or if you asked the security guard to walk me out that would be considerate. I have been impressed when guys had a waiter/waitress send over a to-go box dessert or flower. even a ballon with a email or phone number on it.
