Name some reasons why people might play games online. I'm not looking for answers like they're psycho or azzes, etc. There must be some REAL reasons behind online deceptions. ANYONE?

They have been hurt in real life and they are looking for any kind of attention even if its fake. They are ussually ugly as cheet too.

Because in a sick way its Fun. Its like being a telephone tough guy. You can be anybody on the net. Remember practice makes perfect. You can try out you material on line, before you try it out in public. I read where one person said, thats why its better too date in your area. This way maybe someone knows something about the person, or you can find out about them much faster. Hey, i am 6'0", and 190 pounds of solid man muscle NOT!!!!!

Misery loves company! That's what I used to think. There are happy, upbeat posters doing it too. I just don't get that...maybe it's a way to pretend to be happy when real life sucks?

becuz if they were themselves they know that most people wouldn't give them the time of day. This way they get attention even if it is negative attention. Just like the little kids do to get some attention when they aren't getting enough at home.

It see like their not very happy with who they are and have to put up a front where people can't see the real them. It makes no sense as it can lead to nothing but misunderstandings if they do meet someone who is real.

Good answers people...thanks. I'm not going to attack people who want to go that path...I only want to remind them that they WILL hurt people! Maybe even ones they least want to hurt...who knows.
