He's actually one of my favorite fighters.. I saw that fight as well....As good as BJ Penn is on take down defense and overall martial arts skills he got dominated pretty bad..

I haven't got the chance to train with GSP yet. But, I would love to have the opportunity to be his punching bag..ha! I know that's pretty sick aye?

I however have trained with Eddie Camden, Professor Pedro Sauer, Rorion Gracie, and the founder the old man himself- Helio Gracie (who died this year of old age).... Most were in Atlanta, Ga. I trained with Pedro Sauer in Baltimore...

I watch mma sometimes but don't really follow all of their stats and couldn't tell you what color their under armour is..ha!

You ever make it to the New England Open tourney?

I lived in York, Pa. for many years and have seen the shows but never participated in that tournament..

Back to GSP for a moment- As for the controversy of his ring man and the vaseline that he put on his back.. It was something he shouldn't have done grant it. Unprofessionalism is unacceptable at that level.. However, it seems to me that BJ's corner is using that as an excuse as to why the fight didn't go in their favor.

I will tell you from experience bro.. When you are in the ring and you both are sweaty and you are trying to throw a triangle choke or what ever... a little vaseline isn't going to make much of a difference at all.. You are already slippery from sweating and if you execute the right form to a finishing move it's not going to matter a whole lot.. At that level your moves are so refined and you are used to working with sweaty athletes.. The rules should be the rules across the board and yes it's not appropriate however it's really not going to make you a better fighter at the end of the day.. Doing your homework will...

Have you been to that tournament?

I saw on the fight channel the other day people playing live battle chess in a ring.. They would make a move then start beating the crap out of each other.. It was hilarious..

Oh, 35T00 made me think you are Canadian. There are tons of tourneys around here, but I haven't competed since my neck degenerated, still debating on getting it fused, and in the meantime have gotten way out of shape. Saw the fight GSP ted the after the first. No excuses.
