Topic: Tips for changin diapers | |
---|---|
Anyone know of any tricks to make easier to change a babies diaper, especially when it's a poopy diaper? He just love to squirm and move around and try to stick his hand in the messy diaper. Just wondering if there were any tricks to it.
I do give him a toy to distract him, but it doesn't always work. |

LOL, I am sorry, I remember those days. You just have to get every thing ready and be fast. It helps to be able to change him with only one hand and use the other to hold his hands out of the way. It can be done. It just takes practice. Good luck.

actually, putting a toy or something like that in their hands is about the best suggestion I've ever come across. That and be as quick as you can, lol.

Sometimes you have to lay your arm over their body too. And they have a toy. And talk and make silly faces at them. ![]() |

I use to put my leg over their bellies. Granted it made a strange position, but it helped to keep them still.
What about signing a silly song to him while changing? Use it only for changing time? Make up different words each time? I use to have a silly night time song that I would sing these two little guys, but they now tell me no song just their radio. |
