he was rather eccentric
totally out
of the closet
and i thought he was cool

he was a hard worker
lots of overtime
complained
but i thought he was dedicated

he was a traveller
talked about his old
yet, eclectic house
and i thought he was loving life

he was judy garland
for halloween
fooled even the guys
and i thought he was a rare gem

he was a smoker
and quite chatty
outspoken would be the better term
and i thought he was a genuine guy

he seemed a lover
not a fighter
up until he pulled the trigger
and i thought he was happy.
