Thats the problem with fighting a guerilla army, you're never going to be able to tell the 2 apart. Of Course that doesn't include all the dead children, whats the excuse for that?

It's a sovereign nation. We go in without asking and attack their "citizens", it's essentially an attack on the country.

But I have no problem with it. Osama is a legit target.

the explanation for children is far worse than you could ever possibly realize. its better if you dont ask that one again. suffice it to say children brainwashed from the age they begin learning can be told to do anyhting.....

for gods sake, do you remember the iraq/iran war? the hordes of nutcases iran sent in were with children too. terrorism and islam dont care how old you are if youre willing to die. i assure you ive seen plenty of "children" firing off AKs.

im trying so hard to let you guys know more about iraq and all, and i assure you i was there, i saw it, i understood it. the women the children all love islam and love being accepted. theyre part of something they feel loved, til theyre strapped to a gate with 45 pounds of platique strapped to them.

i give you all my solemn word as a man that its not pretty over there, the farmers the women the children the barbers are ALL fighting something, we had to impose laws LIMITING houses to one AK-47 each. some houses had as many as 12. to defend themselves, its a war torn and bitter country, the children know it, why dont americans?

We have a winner!

Intervention has blowback and it's not normally anything good.

Seems Pakistan has ordered it's military to push back American forces and ordered it's air force to shoot down any drones found in Pakistani air space.

No offense, but I think you're whitewashing the deal. You can't carte blanch bomb residential areas and then blame the dead people. When you carpet bomb a civilian area, regardless of where the religious gang members are, you are going to kill innocent people.

bergeia's photo
Tue 09/16/08 03:35 PM
so we should let them behead innocent people then? we either punish them or we dont. and i do feel sorry for the people in those towns, but theyre the ones LETTING the rebels and terrorists into their homes, their gardens etc, no one acts in the army without good reason, we have radar showing where the artillery comes form, we go to the spot, you can SEE where the mortar was placed and where it dented the ground, you ask the people inside the house what they saw, "i saw nothing!"

thats is NOT innocent!

When was it that it became our job, our mission to police the world and to force our way of life on others?

By the way, we have the same thing going on in this country EVERYDAY, or haven't you heard about gang violence, drug war mistakes, executions on mismanaged testimony, or the mess on our southern border?

Before we sit here and judge whats going on over there, perhaps we need to clean up our own house?

bergeia's photo

lol we cant clean our own house, wed mbe monsters if we stopped all that. the pitfalls of our country is that no one is ever right. someone will ALWAYS be against whats decided upon, lol.

How is it any different, in the Muslim world?

The difference is, they've been fighting these battles between themselves and the Jewish people for thousands of years.

Now America is just going to blow some stuff up, kill a million or so people and Ta-Da, everythings better?

apparently you dont realize strength is all these people respect, what they hate is our egotist civilians not fighting for their beliefs or the fake muslims we hold or the food all our countrymen eat. they could care less if we flex our muscles on the world. they just want everyone to be muslim or to die trying to make us think that. dont you understand to stop a a terrorist you need to kill them, because they feed on terror, and our cowardly base of people who would rather sit back and watch our boys fight and complain about them as opposed to standing up somewhere other than the net, and making their point heard, start a rally! do a mission to mecca! have fun with it! but why the hell do you need to bad mouth us all? im sick of people saying i support the troops but not the war, thats BS. the troops are the war, we run it we do it we are the war. i want everyone back, the war is over, we won. al qaeda is totally boned, and if pakistan wasnt so lowly wed have bin laden. as it stands though you have to know this; whats done is done, why complain about it now?

Typical NeoCon.

I represent traditional conservative principles, one of which is a history of promoting noninterventionist foriegn policies. If you like to force your ideals on others, then you move there, you'd fit right in.

If strength was all those people respected, the fighting would be over already, how long do we have to brawl before it comes to an end? That line reminds me of some of the Provietnam war rhetoric of its age.
I have to say, it almost seems contradictory for you to say in one sentence that all they respect is strength and in the other that they could care less if we flex our muscles.

You are totally mistaken in your point that the troops are the war. War is an effect of policy, the troops follow orders that stem from the policy.
Bush's policy (and apparently the Dems) is the war, not the men and women he's sent to die for it.
If Pakistan wasn't so lowly? Didn't the Bush Administration prop up the dictator there? Didn't he give them billions, without any checks or balances? Thats right he did.

You never win a guerilla war, even as you kill off the current batch, all the killing simply radicalizes the next batch. How about this: No one person has been more important to Al Qaeda's recruiting efforts than George Bush.

all it would take is the media to leave and america to just give it all to the terorists, if they would just be ok with us in a stand up fight it could be over in moments, if we could punish the people who are attacking us instead of giving them food water education we could win. if we could just for one ****ing second stop being the only people who play by the rules we could win. but we wont so we wont win, even though weve come so very very close.
