Topic: Where's your dating hot spot? | |
---|---|
Ok so here's the deal.
I don't drink, I worked in various night clubs for nearly five years so I don't do those joints, and am not much for blind dates. The couple I've had so far have been total train wrecks. Where's your hangout spot to meet new single folks? |

Seriously though. I don't go anywhere at all to look for anyone. Just happens where ever. I did meet the man of my dreams on myspace about 3 years ago.

I have prolly been to 2 clubs in the last 5 years. I don't have a "dating hot spot". In fact, I've never actively pursued meeting men in any arena. I've met every guy I've ever dated accidentally actually.

I've met men that I have dated (in the 10 years I've been divorced), playing adult co-ed softball, coaching my daughter's softball team, playing poker/blackjack and while watching a friend's bowling team play every week. Lots of places to meet people, even in a small town.

I just lay out spike strips in front of my house and help people change flat tires. If its a cute lady, I chat her up a bit ;) Work smarter, not harder!

Sideways to the job.
I serve a few dozen offices each day. Along the way I hit deli shops and usual stops. It doesn't take long to begin chat. Once you've met and say hello, it's up to you. |

The couple I've had so far have been total train wrecks. Where's your hangout spot to meet new single folks? The only good ones I've ever met were through friends -- I don't drink, either, so bars are out of the question, and I have only met one sane person from dating sites, so I'm not using those for dating anymore. By "good ones" I mean someone who can hold my attention for more than 30 days. Three months is about as long as I can be with anyone, generally, although I'd be willing to make an exception for that girl at the grocery store who my friend claims to know but she won't tell me anything useful about her....! |
