Them: Hello Melissa I need to ask you told for a couple of minutes.
Me: OK, not a problem.

*Hold music plays*

Them: Hello are you still there Melissa?
Me: Yes I am
Them: OK, great I need to ask you to hold for a little while longer please.
Me: OK
Them: Thank you Melisa
Me: No, problem

*More hold music following some sort of advertisement.*

Them, OK Melissa I am going to give you a service ticket number, and ask if we can please give you a call back in a couple of hours.
Me: Umm OK, you do realize that it is 3 in the morning here. Sleep for me is going to have to come at some point.
Them: I understand that mam. Please hold again for a minute
Me: *sigh* OK.

*Dang this hold music is starting to anoy me. Feels like
I am in an elevator.*

Them: OK, Melissa it is important that we call you back to check the status.
Me: OK I will try to stay away I really do need my computer.
Them: OK we appreciate that. What number can we use to call you back at?
Me: Probably the same one I provided you with when you first answered and asked for a call back number just incase we got discounted.
Them: OK, and that is (905) ***-****?
Me: Yes it is.
Them OK, we will give you a call back in a couple of hours mam.
Me: OK, talk to you then. Bye
Them: Bye


Company's must think we have nothing better to do with our time.
