He made a comment earlier asking me if anything normal ever happens in my life. And I have been thinking NO! It starting to feel like I am cursed or something. I mean just this past week alone I have been fired, my alarm clock breaks, cause me to be late for class, and now my laptop breaks on me. I guess the saying is true. It if was not for bad luck I would not have ay luck at all.  Naw, thats just Canadians for ya  j/k And yes guys I know that there are worst off then me. I look at all these events that have happen in my life and I just sort of laugh it off. I mean what ever right? I am still alive and able to talking and laugh with friends. |

I am actually sitting here laugh at myself right now. I never said you had a bad attitude about it. but an alarm clock not going off or whatever else you said is a NORMAL part of life.... Did you love your job? I doubt it or you wouldn't be in school. so losing a job that you aren't in love with can be seen as a blessing, it gives you the opertutnity to do something you really want to do. It's how you look at things...not the actual things that happen. |

My boss can be a great person (I got my job back), the customers are THE most sweetest people. I have made some incredible friends. I mean It may just be a coffee shop, but it just go beyond the money. And yes one day I will leave it once I finish school. And yes I know alarm closcks go. Such is life. |

So you got fired and you got your job back.... THAT is not normal...
I remember the thread about it...and I have worked with the public, so I know how people can be... I had a lady throw her keys at me once because I didn't have a monitor in stock. I had an 80 year old man threaten to kick my ass because I had on a short sleeve shirt and he could see the very bottom of my tatoo. I had a woman and her husband corner me and threaten me because the sale ended on saturday and it was tuesday and I wouldn't honor the price of something that was on sale the week before. I had a truck driver picking up a delivery throw my cell phone across the receiving area that I allowed him to use to talk to his dispatcher because a bill of lading was wrong. YES THE GENERAL PUBLIC SUCKS.... but that's normal.

Whenever I start to feel like my life sucks I just think about the fact that I could be in a Thai prison serving out a life sentence for a crime I didn't commit. Then stuff doesn't seem so bad. And, I'm not joking.
