Shaalom Plainome I can understand where you are coming from. But we must relize if we believe that Yahweh sent his son to willingly die on our behalf and that the same spirit he had we can have. The the Spirit can teach anyone. Anything is possible. We are told to prove all things. I enjoy when people who do not believe bring up something i have not ever thought of and may never of thought about. When that happens i have to go back to the instruction book. If i am wrong I rejoice If i am right it strengthens my faith. I am not going to be blinded by what the world says. I have posed very serious questions about the book of John. now they may of seen different things and been inspired to write that down after Yahshua's assension. They will not contradict each other. How can the book of John having Yahshua being talked to by nicodemus. Yahshua saying he will destroy the temple in 3 days and rebuild it.so to speak. These in all the evangels but John have this being said and done before or at when he entered Jerusalem on the 10th of Abib. Which why did he have to enter on the 10th of Abib? But the things I spoke of that is recorded after around 3 years of ministry. that John would have these events to happen before John the Baptists was taken and thrown in prison. Way off from the other accounts. They say when yahshua came down from 40 days of fasting. The disciples only some have been picked and when Yahshua heard john was thrown in prison he did not go to John his Cousin. No he headed toward the sea to fullfill prophecy for John being thrown in prison was a sign to him. We can not have accounts so far apart. If you can show me as i have only investigated John up to chapter 3 when he says John was thrown in Prison. How Johns accounts mainly chapter 2. I would welcome that discernment. Shalom...Miles If I may, I do have the "Holy Spirit" talked about in the book of Acts. I have not always been what I am now. I used to believe the Bible was fact, but what I read and what I have been taught does not always align with the spirit within my heart. I have read the whole Bible, more than once probably, because I was seeking the truth, and thought I would find it there.....and I found some truths there, but also fallacies (imo). I love the Bible, and have learned a great deal from it, I just do not see it as the Word of God. I do not believe that the true "Word of God" can be recorded in a book limited by whatever language it is written in. I also do not believe that "God" can have one name, or be described as describing him puts "him" into categories; and therefore limits "him". God to me is everything, all in all. Good and "bad". I do no believe in "good" and "evil" and no longer understand how someone who believes in an all powerful, all knowing, creator God could? If "God" is the creator of EVERYTHING, then he created both good and evil. He both makes dead and alive (Old Testament not exact quote). He is the tempest in the wind, yet the calm in the sea. If he is all in all, he is you and me, and everything that exists. He is not separate from me, but rather part of the deepest recesses of my soul. I do not need forgiveness from him, because he knows me, knows my heart, is part of what I am and understands. He does not judge me, but I judge myself. (I John 3:20) I believe that it is our own judgement and lack of understanding that seperates us from "God", but that is me. No offence, but I would never take a book to all exclusions of others......... Something I have wondered about, is how can someone use a Biblical scripture to prove anything. Such as, Jesus is the only way to Heaven, then quote Jesus from the Bible where he says so...........?? That, imo, would be like quoting a commercial to prove that a specific product was the best.......... I see "God" in the wind, the sea, the stars at night, the grass and the birds. Everything is in harmony.........when our minds and hearts are in harmony. I do no need to read a book to know the truth, as the truth is within myself and is verified by the things around me. I was an Apostolic Pentecostle Christian for most of my life........I have only begun my own journey over the past five years or so...and only let go of "Christianity" in the past two. It was a hard step for me, but the "God" I know, that resides in my spirit is not separated from truth, and therefore I do not need a mediator, what I know of Christ, the true Christ, is that he resides in my heart......and has many labels, and titles, and none covers the whole of what "he" is. |

shalom..
I would say you have been blessed. To leave the traditions of the church and look outside the box is the hardest thing a believer will face if they will. Most never will. My context of this thread is one of the most beloved books of the scriptures all of a sudden when reading it a light went on saying look futher. When i did i found not that it was just a little bit off from the other 3 writers but it is Left Field. I have posted this same question to my brethern on our website they do not want to tacle it either it seems as of now at least. The book of John is what we use for our Passover meal and emblem taking once a year along with this is where the foot washing is. So it has big implications in my life i would say. What you feel and turn to just make it be no doubts in what you believe or else you will alway doubt. Kinda like a cheater will change after marraige...haha The bible i take as very true. The intritacely woven scriptures that go from one time period to another i c as no way the writer understood at that time what he was writing. He was just the tool that did it. The names if thier are more than one name then the bible is false i agree. But we can not find that what we find is a deliberate cover up. Satan does not want the name of Yahweh on everyones lips when he promises. "Everyone who calls on the name of Yahweh shall be save" Thats where His son coming in his fathers name. He was born to hebrew parents and was given a Hebrew name. Yahshua literally means in Hebrew Yahweh is salvation or Saves. He is only the mediator that this spirit goes through as his death and ressurrection proved Life After Death. But Yahweh saves not Yahshua as is taught. The spirit you speak of we are told Yahweh's children will not be taught by man. That the Spirit would teach him. As you spoke of him being in your heart. Far to many people believe that attending church and doing as they say will get them salvation. Far from it thier leaders are Prophets alright Profiteers!!! I hope you will dig deeper into the scripture and see how man could not possibly made this up. It is beyond our comphehision now net alone then. When thier was very few scrolls. Now we have computer programs that can cross reference things anyway you want and what you will find will blow your mind. You just have to talk to Yahweh ritual prayer is just that a ritual. If Yahweh is real you just speak to him in your head and he hears you. May Yahweh Of Host Let His Knowlege Flow....Blessings...Miles |

Thank you, Miles...........I have studied, and have found that "God" speaks directly to my heart. I do not need a book of scriptures, though I have learned and may continue to learn from it, it is not my cornerstone.

Direction
Sometimes in life we may feel unsure Of what God would have us do What is His will for our lives right now? When faced with two paths to choose We need to come before the Lord When we have to make a choice We need to have ears that will hear The Lord’s still, quiet voice For God will gladly show the way And open the doors to go through With clear direction from our Lord He’ll show us what we should do For He longs for us to know His will And know the plans for our lives So we’ll accomplish the work of the Lord As His Spirit in us daily guides For He will walk with us each day And help us with each decision As our hearts are open to the Lord He’ll impart to us His wisdom We just need to ask of the Lord For the direction that we need He will answer and speak to our hearts As we trust in His name and believe Timing The vision that God has given And the things that He has planned May not happen right away Or in ways that we understand For often God’s preparing us For when that day arrives When we will see the outworking Of God’s vision in our lives Though it tarries, wait for it For it will surely come God’s timing never comes too late He’ll accomplish what He’s begun God is never slow to act He will surely bring it to pass We need not be anxious and despair But have peace within our hearts For when it comes we’ll be released Into what the Lord’s prepared So we will fulfil all that He’s planned As we are being gently led. |
