She was deeply bonded with me for all her life, and had her since she fit in the palm of my hand and once was the size of a small bird, and if you have ever cradled a bird in your hands, you know how precious they really are. I once remember the stillness, yet beauty of Cheaslie(my Cheasapeakie Bay Retriever). Her once trembling body soon relaxed while cradled in my hands, and once I gently put her on the ground and walked away,as unsteady as she was on her tiny feet, she always managed to know where I was becuase of instinct and smell,as her tiny eyes were not yet open, she would whimper until I stopped and she lay down on top of my feet once again. And as she grew, she would be frantic until I would appear outside and she would jump way up in the air waiting for my company!
If only we could react that way to each other, what a miraculous world this would indeed be,eh? I dont expect any replies, but I do Thankyou all for reading! Rod |

That was a very moving piece, your right it would be a much better place we live in if it were only that way.

my adopted dad had a dog like that and when the dog died he had it cremated and he has the ashes in a urn on his shelf in memories.. he stated there will never be another dog like that

My Dad did the same thing and still has his beloved dog in an Urn sitting on his table too. Really torn him apart emotionally and hasnt been the same since and know how he feels.
