I'm about as real as they get, and as for humorous realism, I'll buy that. However, in this thread the intent was to share likes and dislikes about the post. It sounded like more of a continued attack than posting differences.JMO. My apologies, I'll go back to allowing people to believe untruths.....  Please share with me the good things.... I'd love to know what they are, besides the romantic ideals that have been written about in historical fiction... I'm asking you to present your side, I'm willing to listen to it.... |

Lily, you haven't listened to one thing. If you look thru the posts, you'll see you got what you wanted - self attention. you proved that with the apology and sarcasm -then came back for more. So how about Redhead start a new thread about the same topic, the moment you post on it,proves my point.

If you read my post that started with "lily, I agree with your point..", you will already answer your own ?. I am not denouncing anything you said, nor am I taking sides. It just seems to me, if you disagreed with the post, go to another thread. I actually like reading what people like and dislike in this subject and as stated before, keeping the differences going without actually targeting someone is what I look for. I know how times were back then but why focus on the bad things? When I go to the Fairs they have, all I see is the fun they had, they do reenactments of a lot of stuff an I love it. I guess that's all I care about, I try not to see all the bad things that happen back then. I guess at the Fair they prob do idealized it but I really don't care. The whole point in going to one of the Fairs is to have a good time and not look at how bad it was back then.
