Topic: Colon Cancer?

i'm trying to think positive but there's always a "what if" in the back of my mind.my family has a history with Cancer (Throat,Lung,Breast...etc)but on the other hand,i'd prefer her to get a 2nd opinion because the Dr that think she might have it,he used to be the dr i went to until he gave me 1 too many misdiagnoses

my father was diagnosed with it 2 years ago. it was still treatable. Just know I dread having to go, but I'm sure I will

The colon at times grows palops (sp?) like cysts and they can be cancerous, sometimes they aren't, either way they can be removed, if it's caught in time, it's an uncomfortable proceedure, but has a short recovery time.

it looks like this Dr is doing something right (sending her in for a colonoscopy)ask around to see what Dr's. doing colonoscopy's are worth a damn.
