Anything that you dont have o be physically fit to do. if you dont have
to work out to do it, its not a sport

How can people say that football is a sport for athletes and soccer
isn't???????? Soccer requires intricate foot skills and passing
techniques AND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
chances are you are not going to see a 300 pound soccer player racing
down the field?? Oh and I forgot, soccer players run for 18 minutes
straight where most football plays only last about 20-25 seconds. My
money goes to the endurance of a soccer player.

As for golf, I can't begin to tell you how many incomplete passes I see
in football and the ball is bigger than a golf ball. A football field is
100 yards and they still miss. A golfer drives a ball between 200 and
350 yards with a MUCH SMALLER BALL to an unseen hole.

Football depends on someone else trying to catch a ball with a bunch of
bulked up men trying to knock them over.....and you have 4 downs to try
and advance the ball. In golf, on a typical Par 4 a player has to hit
the ball between 400 -500 yards in order to get the ball in a 4 and half
inch round cup. Most pros can do this in only 3 strokes.........let's
see a football player do that.

While I am on a role...why do professional football players play golf?
They do it to improve their skills for their testerone crazed fans!!!

But that is just my little ole opinion

They should have nude gymnastics. I bet they would sell more tickets
than the super bowl. LOL

I agree Fanta.....and they would look 10 times better than nude athletes
from "other so called sports"

Well Misty, you don't see any 300#ers in soccer and while I'm not 300
I'm about a biggie size value meal away. lol And yes I wasn't going to
respond about the soccer not being a sport but when it's crowded in the
goal box it can get as ugly there as anywhere in sports. Or if you
don't believe me you could ask the guy who had his nose broke in my game
last night. Alright, I won't know until next week if it's broken or not
but I heard the crunch and there was a LOT of blood.

Derfw3.......for the record I think you are very sexy. I was just making
that point because I am so tired of people thinking football is the end
all of great sports.

And for the record...if you were in Houston, I would be extremely proud
to have you on my arm as a date!!!!

I can imagine it's doubly bad in Texas Misty, I lived in Dallas for a
couple of years and the HS stadiums look like college stadiums- complete
with luxury boxes and all! And if anyone still doubts if soccer is a
sport, watch some EPL (English Premier League- it's THE BEST) on Fox and
you'll see some hits that'll make you cringe.

Texas is crazy when it comes to football......it's insane. I love the
game of football, but there are so many other sports out there that are
equally (if not more) exciting to watch!
Plus my kids were in gymnastics for years and I would challenge any
human to even attempt their simplest stunt!!!! Needless to say I had
insurance while they competed!
(Derf) Come visit me in Texas and we'll go see a soccer or basketball
game!
