i think public schools should first concentrate on adequate building of math, reading, comprehension, foreign studies and such before they wander into issues of religious preference and particular belief...just my opinion

Sure, as long as they also teach phrenology and voodoo and the whole celestial spheres thing. If we're going to muck up "learning" by mixing it all up with nonsense and superstition, let's do it right.

I dont know about in School, but maybe when things are created in a controled environment you can use it to explain that. If that make senseohwell

Instead of mandating intelligent design, Discovery Institute recommends that states and school districts focus on teaching students more about evolutionary theory, including telling them about some of the theory's problems that have been discussed in peer-reviewed science journals. In other words, evolution should be taught as a scientific theory that is open to critical scrutiny, not as a sacred dogma that can't be questioned. We believe this is a common-sense approach that will benefit students, teachers, and parents.Simply put,i dont think so.
