I guess I look at the candidate that is going to be more World friendly... Darn I hate to be so disagreeable. But hey, in the immortal words of Popeye the sailor man, I yam wat I yam. Being "world friendly" is one of the biggest reasons the the US is falling behind the rest of the world in economy and stature. IMHO, it's time that we start taking care of ourselves...just short of being isolationist. We should send relief, not rebuild and strengthen our enemies...yep, we have some. I'll stop there. Youre welcome. |

what I find sad are those fanatical followers that for no other reason that following a group (DEM/REP) will vote for a person. Individuality and common sense is lost jmo - ok now back to your regularly scheduled program
i tend to vote more for the individual when it comes to local issues, such as mayor, trustees, and/or city councillors although when i vote federal, i tend to follow the beliefs of the party rather than who i happen to prefer more as an individual however, in canada, there doesn't really seem to be that much of a difference between the right and the left any longer, and it's just a matter of appeasing the majority in order to win |
