He seems to think he doesn't have to do his homework cause he doesn't feel like it and then also thinks he can spend all night playing on the computer. And he thinks I'm playing when I tell him he can't go on the computer until his homework is finished, I don't care if it's later tonight or next year.

I turned off Katie's cell phone today because she didn't feel like going to school this morning.....then I drove her butt to school.

No kids! Shark season is over and I don't want to keep them for a year.

i got one here that doesn't want to do his homework either! we had a bunch to do last night cause his teacher sent home school work that he refused to do in class, so we had a lot of homework to do!!! he has his first spelling test tomorrow, so we hit the spelling words hardcore tonight! he's got 8 of the 10 down, he just can't seem to remember how to spell walk and they! I even made him write them both out about 10 times each tonight, and then spell them out loud about 10 times, then we took a mini test, and as soon as we were done, he either really forgot, or was just messing with me to piss me off! I guess we'll see tomorrow after the test!

Other than spelling, how are you?

Things are getting better, it's been a rough couple of weeks, but things are calming down!

two weeks ago, Ryan's ex called him asking for money, we believe for drugs. He said he'd help her out by putting her up in a hotel for a few days (her mom kicked her out) and got her some food, but the stipulation was that she hand over custody of their son. SO... he's been living here almost 2 weeks now, and it's been a rough start, but getting better.

Then last weekend, we got like 7 inches of rain over like 36 hours, the aftermath of the hurricane. Our 5.5 foot crawl space below the kitchen flooded. We had about 4.5 foot of water down there. It fried all of our wiring in the kitchen, so Ryan has been working on tearing out walls and ceilings and replacing all of the old wiring in the house. Not too much fun. I'm starting to feel better about it though because I'm getting a lot of the drywall dust cleaned up, and I mostly have my kitchen back!

Two weeks ago, when the kid thing went down, I was super sick and had to take a couple days off work. I'm just getting over all of it, so the better I feel, the better things are going!

Well, atleast you get a new kitchen out of the deal. It sounds the boy will be better off with you folks.
Things are going fine here. Heading to LA this weekend. Going to take in the sites.
