He might have been flattered, some people mistake jealousy for love.

Yes, I overused the exclamation point big time. I was shocked you'd met a boy, as I did not think you'd talk to any at the current stage of the game.

I'm out last night with a group of friends, and two of them are dating, have been for about 6 months now. The girl was admitedly PMSing. The guy sees a girl he went to high school with and she was a bit tipsey and kinda hanging on him. The gf gets ENRAGED and fights with him at the bar.

I've known this guy for years, he wouldn't cheat on her for a million dollars. As she is coming up to him throughout the night she was being snippy and nasty (I do like this girl also...just not last night) He would just stand there and let her say whatever then she would walk away and come back a few minutes later and do the same thing.

My question is....WHY DO GUYS ALLOW THIS BEHAVIOR?

Had I been the bf I would have said "hey look time to go..." and taken her out of the bar.

I walked over to her once and said "You know he's the most loyal and honest guy you will ever meet right, and I know he adores you." She says "Yes, but he should have told that girl to stop." which I kinda agree, but it's not his way, and it was a very short conversation with her and he did introduce his gf to her as his gf.

Why do guys tolerate this?
flowerforyou If I do that its to keep an arguement from breaking out.flowerforyou Its okay for a chick to do that a little bit, but Im not gonna live with any woman thats gonna try to boss me around like she's my mom. flowerforyou

It sounds as though your friend does not like confrontation. He should have left, without her. And then when both parties were sober, talked about the obvious trust issues in their relationship.

Yup.
