where people get the nerve to have someone rate their profile...some people can be brutally honest and down right hurtful wonder how they feel when someone like that slaps a comment up here...

The brutal comments are un-called for... Most of the people ask for an honest reply to improve their profile... then you have some that ask for comments 3 or 4X just for attention... The negative comments stop me from replying to allot of questions...

ppl want some attn and feedback - plus you find out who are kind and who are not - valuable info and insight into the character (or characters) here in mingleland

I sometimes put up joke posts in that forum as a protest.
I admit to occasionally being silly when rating as well because the whole thing is idiotic. Especially when the same person has put up 3 previous rate me profiles. Ultimately even though many comments are mean and unnecessary, the negative comments people receive often fall into the category of if you don't want to hear the answer then don't ask the question!!! |

You do get an insight into a person from their comments... Nice people will be nice and you get to know who the jerks are... |

I sometimes put up joke posts in that forum as a protest. i agree i almost look at that topic as people wanting to draw attention to themselves and needing some sunshine blown up their butts i'm not the best person to do that  ~~~~ perhaps if there were a thread 'how to write effective profiles' and people could post general comments, that might be more constructive? |
