In the old part of Vegas they do a light show that is free. The whole street is under a canopy of lights and its very cool. Can't remember the name of the street. But its very popular and shouldn't be hard to find.

The Downtown light show at night.... For good food: Goldengate (Downtown)$.99 shrimp coctail; Ellis Island best meals, size (you can't eat it all) and dinner about $11. price, best BBQ ribs and chichen, again very cheap; Sams Town very nice to walk through, western, execllent buffet, Sunday brunch the best; don't laugh Denny's in the Casino Royale, I had the best stake and eggs ever there... If you gamble there you get comped the meals...

Gifts: in the hall of the Casino Royale (on the strip next to Harras') they always have 1st class shirts for $5 to $20... leather jackets with Las Vegas on them for $20, nice quality too. The shirts are baseball, basketball, and most with Las Vegas on them, I have wahed mine many times and they are still in excellent shape...

If you gamble, I can tell you where to go for what game, just let me know...

i didn't go to any paid shows (i was there with children and i know they wouldn't have enjoyed them)

but i do want to see 'love' so very badly, depends on whether you like the beatles

have you tried googling to see what's happening while you're there? i understand that tickets can be very hard to come by

I would recommend Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian. There is a lot to do in the Vegas area for free. There is also a lot of ways to be separated from your money.

Far from an expert on Vegas...but living 90 miles from there have been there a few times.

As far as shows....how much do you want to spend? Check where you hotel is in relationship to the show. Wear comfortable shoes. Best way around is by foot. Belagio has some interesting shows.

The Shark Reef is always interesting to go to. They are doing the pirate show on the strip again.

Donny and Marie are in town...heard mix reviews on their show.

Blueman is always good.

It is also just fun to people watch. But then I'm not into the casino scene. Sometime restaurants are cheaper than the buffets. Don't forget Henderson and the Hoover Dam. They have expanded the tour of the dam since restricting it in 2001.

You HAVE to go to Freemont Street. The old Vegas Strip. It's awesome, alot of fun and something you truly don't want to miss. Go so you can be there at night, there is a great light show.

Vegas is my all time FAVORITE place to visit.

Wishing you all peace from within

Ok. You going to Vegas? The Bilasio is a must, but only if you eat on the top floor (Penthouse); the MGM is good too; the Flamingo Hilton is a nice and quiet place to eat and sleep with many casino's downstairs. Last but not least, check out death valley. Yesireeee! Yahoo cowgirl!
