can you explain to me how you can miss someone online. and yet its not real life ....so the feelings are not supposed to be there????

Just because you communicate with them online doesn't mean it's not real.

I miss people in the forums all the time...Are you talking about missing them in more than a friendship way, wolfie?

One word homie/homette..."Virtual".... maybe for some yes.....but what makes it so???? I would challenege that I have had more communication now ...than I ever did.

Sure some folks online are phoney...but, doesn't take a real smart person to weed the majority of them out...then you are left with a whole pile of real people...like me and Pec...

It is as real as anything can possibly be...we are all living creatures and when we talk online...I feel we get to know people sooo well because a lot of people can talk about themselves more when not face to face...I feel we have a deeper connection with on line friends than day to day friends because we really get to know one another

You say "communication"...groovy. Contact/Face to face is the "real world".... Most "younger people" cannot deal with face to face encounters....hence...."A gumman went on a rampage today....and shot 11 people" (blah...blah....blah) Yes kiddies, honesty/reality (that's me) once again....deal with it or hide from it as usual..... One word homie/homette..."Virtual".... maybe for some yes.....but what makes it so???? I would challenege that I have had more communication now ...than I ever did.

Obviously, if someone wants to hide certain aspects of themself it will be easier to do online. but, if you have people are just being themselves you can form a very lasting relationship.
