I work at Walmart and as I was sitting outside waiting for my ride home tonight after work I notice this girl standing outside. Well, this guy comes up to her (at first I thought it was her boyfriend) and grabs her by the arm and starts leading her thru the lobby.

As they are walking I hear her say "I'm just waiting for my boyfriend" and then she starts walking back outside. So the guy grabs both of her arms and instantly I'm thinking "OMG, this guy is attacking this girl or is trying to come on to her and she's trying to fight off his advances!" (Stupid me!)

Well, right as I'm about to start yelling for someone to help this girl, the girl starts struggling to get free yelling "I didn't do anything" and right then the guy says, "You were caught stuffing clothes in your purse." I look and she's got this huge purse and you could tell clear as day that it was packed full. They finally got her back in the store and called the cops.

But I never would have guessed the guy was an undercover police officer, and I think its so funny that they let the shoplifters get all the way out of the store making them think that they got away with it, and then Bam! Right at the last second they are busted.

I use to work at walmart also and I could never tell who was the security officers, but I do know that they have to let them get outside first before they can do anything to them

It isn't considered shoplifting until they exit the store.

Correct...not considered stolen until it goes out the door

I know i shouldnt care, but with so many people out of work, and trying to get by, maybe she is in a bad way, and took a chance. I know WWWWWWWWWAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I know they have to let them leave the store with the items, but I just think it's so funny because you know they are thinking "I got away with it." and like I said right at the last second, they are busted!
