I don't have much from my childhood, we had a housefire christmas of 1998, so pretty much everything was gone.

I don't have it but my Mom does but when we moved from Maryland to Nebraska, we weren't able to take a lot of stuff with us. So, she took one piece of artwork that each of us 5 kids made in First grade with her. I had made the most hideous ceramic coffee mug for her. I mean, we are talking beyond ugly. ( I can say that now, but I at the time I thought it was beautiful, lol) Anyway, I had completely forgotten that she had it because we were young when we moved. When I moved to New York back in 2006, sitting right there in her family room was a display of all our artwork including my coffee mug. I was shocked to see it and it brought back so many good memories. And the best part of it all, was I got to show my daughter who was 6 years old at the time, all the stuff that me and brothers and sister made at the exact same age she was.

that is so cool, I have stuff that my daughter made when she was younger to do the same thing when (along time from now)she has a child of her own
