Caught in a dream of yesterday
She pulls out the photographs
Remembering all she had wished for
Some of it made her laugh

Three little men all in the tub
Taking a bubble bath
Making big beards of bubbles
A tear came as she looked back

A comfortable house, white picket fence
A swingset out in the yard
A place she called home now for awhile
A dream she couldn't discard

Anything that reminded her

It was time to take the ring off

She neatly tucked away the books
Took all the pictures down

God had some healing to do
