"A DIVORCE court judge ruled a man was RIGHT to beat and abuse his wife
— because the Muslim holy book allowed it. The terrified partner, a
26-year-old mum of two, filed for a quickie divorce after her husband
hit her and even threatened to kill her.

But the judge in Frankfurt, Germany, rejected her application — quoting
a Koran verse which some have controversially interpreted to mean a man
can beat his wife if she acts in an “unchaste” fashion.

The woman judge said it was “a religious thing” because both the wife
and husband were from Morocco — home to many Muslims."

How much more "cultural relativism" weenie-headedness will the west
yeild in order to make un-acceptable practices feel "welcome" in our
lands?

Its not ok to beat your wife. Its not ok to weasel away from civic
responsibility to uphold that law, and its clearly unacceptable to be so
spineless to have no principles. Jeeeez.

Then you have the other side. I was in court today to do some research.
There was a man who had been in jail for 28 days because he couldnt post
bond.

His wife and 4 young girls were in court to see if his bond could be
reduced from 5k to a PR personal recongnasence bond, and that the
protective order would be removed so that the wife and children could
talk/meet with thier husband/father. The wife even took the stand and
said that it was a missunderstanding.

The judge read the police report and it said that the man had been
drinking and was angry and busted up some dishes and personal things and
his wife had called the police, there was NO physical assalt and the man
had no priors and they had been married for 17 years.

The judge reduced the bond to 4k but said that the man could only see
his family if he was behind the glass at the jail.

So both stories just prove that the government is out of control.

Everything is run on politics and re-election it seems. Almost sounds
like justice be damned - just because I need to win re-election.
Dammitt, we need the Punisher.

City to Seize Homes Over a $5 Parking Ticket
Brooksville, Florida proposes to foreclose homes and seize cars over
less than $20 in parking tickets.

The Newspaper |March 23, 2007

The city council in Brooksville, Florida voted this week to advance a
proposal granting city officials the authority to place liens and
foreclose on the homes of motorists accused of failing to pay a single
$5 parking ticket. Non-homeowners face having their vehicles seized if
accused of not paying three parking offenses.

According to the proposed ordinance, a vehicle owner must pay a parking
fine within 72 hours if a meter maid claims his automobile was
improperly parked, incurring tickets worth between $5 and $250. Failure
to pay this amount results in the assessment of a fifty-percent "late
fee." After seven days, the city will place a lien on the car owner's
home for the amount of the ticket plus late fees, attorney fees and an
extra $15 fine. The fees quickly turn a $5 ticket into a debt worth
several hundred dollars, growing at a one-percent per month interest
rate. The ordinance does not require the city to provide notice to the
homeowner at any point so that after ninety days elapse, the city will
foreclose. If the motorist does not own a home, it will seize his
vehicle after the failure to pay three parking tickets.

Any motorist who believes a parking ticket may have been improperly
issued must first pay a $250 "appeal fee" within seven days to have the
case heard by a contract employee of the city. This employee will
determine whether the city should keep the appeal fee, plus the cost of
the ticket and late fees, or find the motorist not guilty. Council
members postponed a decision on whether to reduce this appeal fee until
final adoption of the measure which is expected in the first week of
April.

The full text of the ordinance is available in a 605k PDF file at the

Mexican Gangs Take Over L.A. As Cops Back Down
http://rense.com/general75/mme.htm

From Don Stacey
3-19-07

On National Public Radio last month (February)....a spokesman for the
Los
Angeles PD, stated that the 90,000 cops of the LAPD have been
"overwhelmed" by
street gangs in the area now numbering somewhere between 150,000 to
200,000 in
strength. And these gangs, ages 10 to 40, are armed...some with
automatic
weapons. The Negro gangs (BLOODS, CRIPS, etc.) have been replaced by
the Mexican
mestizo outfits like MS-13.

In Long Beach, near the Los Angeles harbor, there is a struggle going
on between
the newly emerging Asian gangs and the mestizo's for control of the
area. Thomas
Chittum http://tinyurl.com/yqvf5m predicts that this street gang war is
the
beginning of what he calls "Civil War II" http://tinyurl.com/ypf7aa and
the
total disintegration of the USA.

California is similar to Iraq......just waiting to rumble, as the
population
increases by leaps and bounds. The California population
http://tinyurl.com/ovuh
is presently about 40 million which will double in less than 20
years...

LAPD cops are quitting or retiring and moving to Idaho rather than stay
in LA
under these mad conditions. Sidewalks in some parts of downtown LA are
filthy
with human waste. Cops going there sometimes put on rubber overshoes or
plastic
bags to keep the crap off their shoes. Mostly, they just try to stay
out of
those areas. So, the gangs have the streets to themselves.

@Bear,

Having just listened to the album, your comments made me think of
"Waiting for the Worms" from Pink Floyd's "The Wall"

'Would you like to see Britannia
Rule again my friend?
All you have to do is follow the worms '

Ive never heard that song, but I have just learned to love pink floyd
and their wisdom...

For a great country to work, the government MUST fear the people,
always. In amerika we fear this out of control government and grovel to
it.

Is it lawful if the wife is muslim and the spose is not?
When is a law inconsequential for your actions?
Which laws are "valid" and which are not?
Who has the right to decide for others?

The "law" only serves the intrests of those with power.

Humans are so arrogant and destructive.
