McCain's staff says Sarah Palin was vetted by his staff. They state their process included an FBI investigation.

Except...that is a lie! The McCain staff doesn't properly vet the potential veep? Sound like the Bush admin appointment? Challenge me on that and I will post it!

A statement from the FBI:

01 Sep 2008 01:52 pm
The Federal Bureau of Investigation did not participate in the vetting of Gov. Sarah Palin and did not conduct a background check as part of the process, an FBI spokesman said today.

"In general, we do not do vetting for political campaigns except as it might regard investigations needed for security clearances," said John Miller, the chief FBI spokesperson.

The FBI did not participate in a vet, nor did it run a background check of Gov. Palin as part of the process.

Palin might already have a clearance that relates to her duties as governor. But the FBI can't speak to that, and in any event, those investigations wouldn't be accessible to the McCain campaign anyway.

I heard an interesting audio clip of McCain saying, in regards to his decisions, that he made them quickly and stood behind them.

Now, I have some admiration for those that can act decisively when needed. I have little tolerance for those that jump to a conclusion and then refuse, even when presented with evidence that their decision was wrong, to admit it and right things.

Yep, McCain had about a 15 min conversation with her before he choose her for his running mate.. Also she just got her first passport in 2007 I believe. She knows zero about foreign policy/affairs.. has no idea who is doing what in which country... I watched a big debate last night, and the Republican Strategist didn't deny none of those accusations.. Only said she was an excellent executive..

:/

McCain said he would only choose a running mate that was reading to lead the country on Day 1, incase of his death. eh, not sure what he is doing with this choice.
But hey he only has 5,6, 7, 8, 9, 10, houses? Is it more now?
Check out this video everyone wanna laugh? omgosh.... this is really not funny, but his whole presidential candidacy is on war experience, military exp.. ok you have to watch this video ....

ya know what would be interesting right about now, seeing someone @ the RNC speak George's name ONE time......Republicans-Mavericks-United?
They can't even whisper the President's name? Bush is Republican last time I checked.

Bill spoke @ the DNC... and mentioned Obama many times over. Well all the speakers did. eh, the RNC is sorta strange to me, but interesting. I like watching it all.

We will see today/tonight--if his name is uttered. He was on Satellite eh? He looked a tad uncomfortable? no?

and, if they can do this ONCE--

speak about the economy.. Just once...

Did I miss those two things? Was I on a 'P' break or something? Just wondering.

They should of bought(not brought) people to fill the seats.

Cheers-
