She can leave for all I care
for a while it hasn't been the same
I used to feel at home around here
that was at a time I had a name
Too many nights sleeping on the floor
couldn't keep up with the thoughts all along
but she just waited for me to reach for the door
never once did we ask what went wrong

It seems the last one thousand kisses
she would always turn away
didn't take me long to know something was missing
in our embrace


I'll bet theres someone there to replace me
wouldn't suprise me if he knew her as well as me
she always had a way of keeping me in the darkness
but I myself had a few tricks up my sleeve
The ignorance and sighs of unhappiness,
she always said I was in it for a place to stay
I've got a perfect recollection of all the things
she said
still theres no making sence of whats now in disarray



It seems like the last time I told her that I loved her
made me ask myself was it all a big mistake
I can't remember the last time I layed beside her
and thought to myself I hope nothing will ever change




Her cold grey stare,and the blackened heart
like a failed wish that tore me apart
to the point I'll never love again
and it's because of her I'll never believe in it


It's all a game of chance
and I see the way she always smiles at her friend
I kind of miss the way I could make her smile like that
but I'll never do that again
So I can picture in my head,
this thief laying down in my side of the bed
I guess her view of heroes is not like I've imagined
because it's best I leave it up to her to praise
a fool like him
