You never know when it is your time to go,
When you are gone, what will you have to show?
Will it be all the wealth you strived to attain?
Which now it all seems in vain.
Will it be your expensive car that you loved to race?
Which now seems like it was nothing but a waste.
Will it be that job that earned you status among your peers?
Now you realize it made you miss your children’s most precious years
These are the things in life that tend to consume our souls
Without these we never quite seem whole.
We always think that we will have yet another day,
To do the things we want, to finally relax and play
The truth is we never know when our time will come to an end
Until that day, make sure you make time for family and friends
Because when our time is up, what matters is not the wealth we gained
But it is the impact that we had on others that will forever remain.

We all tend to get wrapped up in our goals and everyday life. It is nice to read things like this because we need to be reminded every now and then to just take a minute and appreciate what really matters
