Alone in a little raft
Watching clouds roll by
Sailing down the river
Just God and I

Thinking about the mystery
Life can throw at me
Here upon the river
I find serenity

In the wake of the waves
I feel alive again
Rolling down the river
With God as my best friend

Big tall pines upon the bank
A train whistles on by
Rowing, Rowing, Rowing...
Singing as clouds roll by.

Finding my fulfillment
In doing something new
Crashing waves surround me
God helps me sail through

Blue herrons upon the shore
An island of birds upon the bank
My white hat greets the water
I grab it quickly before it sank

God as my captain
Three hours pass me by
My trip upon the river
Reminds me to soar high

Enthusiastic and accomplished
My feet greet the shore again
Ready for a new adventure
With God as my best friend
