so they can try to get money.
at the end it always comes down to cash.

They always tell me they're from Georgia but it turns out they're from
Russia. I'm not sending them any money until their knowledge of
geography improves.

I get about one a month.The way they word things catches my attention
first.They dont say much but want your phone # or other em address.Watch
your azz.

Had one the other day from the Chicago area...LOL turned out to be
England.

Chrastka, thats been a topic here since this sight started. (Good lookin
out) most of them are from Russia and Africa!!!!

I have had three of them in the last half hour. As soon as they say what
do you do for a living I click ignore on my yahoo IM. Unbelievable.

When they ask me what I do for a living, I tell them I'm the Ambassador
to Ghana. Let 'em go hang out at the Embassy if they want something.

I have had several from NY and NJ - first thing they ask for is my
private e-mail, when I refuse, poof they are gone.

I could tell by the way a couple of them wrote, broken English, but a
couple of them had pretty good English.

Don't give out my e-mail to anyone, unless I am darn sure I know them
well.

Another thing is their profile has next to nothing in it.If they have a
pic its only one.Usually looks good too.

are these im's or emails you guys are getting? I haven't been bothered

onalark, these are emails, usually very poor grammar and sentence
structure indicating only a rudementary command of English. They
usually list a U.S. location but as soon as you answer they tell you
they are either in Russia, or Africa someplace. If you converse with
them for any length of time they want to come meet you and want you to
send them money for an airplane ticket or they request money for some
other reason.

I was on here late one night and I got IMed by a lady that said she was
a teacher in Korea from the Phillipines Islands then she went on about
how her job in Korea was ending and she was headed home and how much it
cost to keep her kids in school etc. They are all a scam looking to
seperate you from your bank account
