Topic: do me a favor please? | |

Someone who knows who all the candidates are (I don't at this point)
start a thread on each, nameing them as candidates for presidential? I do not care what party someone belongs to just who they are and what theyre primary belief is. That would help me in researching the candidates, so I can get an idea of who I am in favor of (probably help a lot of others too). Thank you. |

Normally I would agree with that long a time frame, bro but I want to
take a slong as possible to get to know the candidates as well as I can. After all, collectively we are probably looking over almost a thousand years of information, right? |

Hillary Clinton for one, and Osama Bin Laden? or was his name Obama
something or another? Then, I think I heard that George Bush was running again, but maybe that was at the bar a few hours ago. Bill Clinton is running for governor of Arkansas or did he already do that? I forget. |

ex-Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-AR),

Thanks for the link Daniel. Getting so you can't tell the players
without a scorecard. I read something in the paper today that Al Gore is the front runner for the democrats although he insists he is not a candidate. The next year and a half or so is going to be like getting pecked to death by chickens. I think all political campaigns should be limited to 2 weeks and a maximum expenditure of $200. Regardless of party anybody that spends more to get elected to office than what the office pays is a crook. |

The biggest thing I would like to see is when all is said and done we
have the two candidates in first and second right? The first one is obviuosly the president. The second place should be vice president. I mean hey! We decided they were the two best foir the job, why no tput them both in office? By doing this you would be having Both major parties served, and less chance of president or vice causing trouble, cause the other one is there with him (or her) |

I believe that that is exactly what was don for the first ten or so
Presidents, and one of the most successful Presidents (Lincoln) actually appointed his political enemies to his cabinet, not so that he could keep his eye on them, but because he would receive honest (somtimes brutally so) opinions on his policies and ideas. |
