the kids today are out on the streets and are recruited with the promise of money , cars ,security within the gang . and these scumbags do not care about the safety of there brothers, they could care less bout that as long as there ass is covered.!!!!jmo

The entire "War on Drugs" is in a way a war on race, as it was in my opinion started because of racial tension and racism in that regard. However the reason it has standed so long is not because of race it is because of the monetary gain that the government gets from it, they get millions of dollars to fund a ridiculous war. I would go more in depth but I am afraid I may spark some unwanted attention, I have links on some very interesting writings if you would like send me a mail.

Guns now on the other hand have been apart of our culture since they were created, and will remain apart of our culture until our culture ceases to live. Gun laws are not unlike drug laws as they all lead too money, they are loose in some states because the NRA has spent a lot of money insuring that they remain loose. Not to say the NRA is this supreme 'evil' being, not at all (but in all honesty they handle certain situations with disregard to other people's feelings). Illegal arms are apart of the government as well, read up on it...every year billions worth of illegal arms trade is allowed passage into the US with little to no conflict getting there, reason being again money. Look at how much the government makes off war, now if someone were to sale arms to that government they are funding "terrorism" (for lack of a better term) and therefore are sought after, but on the other hand if they are selling to an ally of the US they are looked at as a noble cause and left to be. Which effectively means if an arms dealer sells to an ally country and then wishes to come back to domestic soil he/she can with little or no hardship.

Again with all of this it is left to what you perceive, and a little with how much you know. I highly advise anyone interested to do thorough research on the topic, it is quite interesting.
