A guy that was executed, near my former home, was a bigwig in the local scene. It was execution, obvious, etc. Murdered, by being executed. Assassination is obvious in a different way, involving offing them to achieve a businesslike goal. Similar to the execution, but from a distance of several meters or more. Murder's definition incorporates all modes of intentional cold-blooded killing. Murdered, by assassination, by drowning, poisoning, etc. IMO |
