If all else fails, and if you can do it, choose a friend or a few friends to send your stuff to for safekeeping (copies). Zip the stuff, email as attachments, and let their computers 'scan/clean' the pix. Your system might not be idenitifying and eliminating the hiding places.

I mean, if I were a scoundrel, I'd pick your art as a cache to hide bad things in, because you would try to save the artwork.

Ok. ok. Just think...whom else has seen the art, and saved it to their computer?
Eliminate those from the 'must save' list, since you can ask those peeps to send the saved stuff to you.
Just scan your list of contacts, send to ALL, and request them to send zipped files of the stuff to you. Put a disc in, and save those emails and all contents to disc, without opening. That saves your computer from graphic overwork until you get your system defragged.

Just a suggestion. You do have a blank disc...don't you?

And you have defragged your computer recently?

yes I defrag regularily , the files are to big to go on one disc so its not letting me , my son just lent me a flash drive and it held 2 nd a half folders for me if I buy a few more flash drives I can save more stuff theres thousands of pictures , and I will have to figure out how to debug or antivirus those files cause yes they are likely infected to bastard geekwad hacker loser jerkwad scum of the earth
