Topic: Does anyone know of any legit work at home jobs?

I'm looking for something to do after work hours. I'm off today and thought I'd spend it looking for a part or full time evening job I can do from home. Any suggestions?

Medical transcription and/or medical billing are the only two that I can think of right off hand.

I currently work as a telefundraiser, which is telemarketing for charities. I'm great on computers, smart saleswoman, great phone presence. I type around 60-70 wpm... I just need something to fill in the blanks, and maybe eventually take over as full time work if it pays well enough.

Medical transcription and/or medical billing are the only two that I can think of right off hand. These 2, plus coding hospital/healthcare records. All require some specialized training but most is available via online courses. I teach in a program in NJ which offers 1 year & 2 year programs & all online for coding, etc. You can email me if you want info.

Sounds like you may be well suited for a Transcriptionist job. I suppose it sounds boring but they are legitimate.

I'd love to do the medical transcription thing but I can't afford school...lol. I don't have time to spend on it b/c I'm working and trying to help my family survive. I need something I can do with my already good skills and make a decent living eventually. I don't expect to replace my current fulltime job over night, but I would like to ween myself to it eventually.

Those are the only two that I have actually known someone to make real money from, there could be more, would be wary of many of the little adds in newspapers and such, you know, the old if it sounds to good to be true thing

But, most of my students have FT jobs & just take 1 or 2 courses a semester. Also, our program is really cheap as these go....around $85-$90 per credit, I think. Sorry to sound like a guidance counselor....guess it's 2nd nature between my job & having an 18 & 22 yr old.
