my other dog penny hurt her tail somehow today, I don't know if it broke or what but she cant even sit without whimpering an I feel so bad.. idk what to do

take her to the vet

Poor baby! Maybe you could hold an ice-pack on it for her? And give her lots of lovin!

wrap the ice pack to her tail with a bandage and if it's not better soon, she should see a Dr....good luck!

TO THE VET!!! Dogs don't usualy show when they are in pain. If she is favoring it that means it is likely injured.

I had a lab who wagged his tail so hard he was constantly breaking it on doorways and tables and stuff
there's not much you can do, any kind of a splint you put on it will bug him and he'll chew it off It's like a broken finger you just have to wait for it to heal |

vet is closed now.. im gonna call in morning an talk to him bout what we can do to ease the pain

A trip to the vet does sound like it is in order. They will look at and if it is broken, put something on it to help it heal. And maybe one of those cone things for around her neck so she does not tamper with is until it heals.
