Either you have it or you don't.
Very seldom does one learn common sense. |

some have it, some don't

"common sense" unfortunately isn't so common anymore because it is something that i think is taught from an early age and you just grow up 'knowing' something. Well in today's society a lot of the values and time that use to be spent on kids have gone out the window so common sense isn't really being taught at that early age anymore...jmho

Hello Clarice.......

Bonjour mirror ^^
What is your thought on this? |

Common sense means to me using the most rational, logical reasoning possible. It's common sense that you shouldn't be lighting up any fires near a gas station but lord knows there has been someone lacking such reasoning and did it anyways. Common sense tells you when you light a firecracker it's wise to move away from it but lo and behold every 4th of July we find people in hospitals with fingers blown off. I don't believe Common Sense is taught specifically but when you are small and your parent told you don't touch the fire cause you will burn yourself that is the foundation of it. Some parents did their children an injustice or some are just lacking it regardless of their upbringing.

every parent trys to teach their young right from wrong.......dogs,cats,horses,man....etc.
you give them the tools to decide whats good or bad and hope they make the right choices....... |

WOW ALL THAT

Its common sense to NOT sit on a bench with a wet paint sign, now its good judgement if you decide not to sit on said bench.

Common Sense

Their parents do everything for them including THINKING and it's really starting to take a toll on society. |
