Did you ever have words or phrases that were not allowed in your house growing up? Even though they weren't swear words?
I couldn't say CRAP, THIS SUCKS, or SHUT UP. Instead of shut up you could say "stay thy mouth"...apparently its okay to say shut up in Shakespearian!

We were allowed to say the non-swear words at home.......but I got in big BIG trouble from a friend's mom when I said "The monkeys with the red heineys"

I didn't allow my boys to say "frick or fricken"
 or "shut up"
