Hi TM & Debs,
mmm, If you want some coffee TM, the bible tells you the guy makes the coffee. As for tea, a spot of Earl Gray might suit you. Darjeeling is my favorite. Thanks for sharing some thoughts about your faith. It would be nice if you could share some of the songs you write. "In my life, my faith brings me comfort and a pray to visualize survival in the future. It also gives me hope of an life after I depart from this present human body. In my faith, I will make heaven my home one day as long as I keep walking the narrow path as best I can." |

I wanted to come in the coffee shop and share some of God's beautiful Creation. Here is a link to some waterfalls I found out on the net:
http://grandcanyon.free.fr/images/cascade/thumb.html Just beautiful!! Jim ps. in order to save them, I had better luck buy right clicking on the thumbnail and opening the picture in another browser, then doing a right click "save as..." when the hi-res picture opens up... |

Hi all...
They made a link for Christian chat. I always thought it would be nice to have a place to go and share & explore God & the life He brings to us. Including what we glean from him & the world around us. Is anyone going to come over? Just wondering... QS |

TM, I enjoyed looking at the beautiful waterfalls on the site you mentioned. I saved a few. I was glad to see one of Glen Ellis in the White Mountain Region. I have visited there quite a bit in the past few years. |

"Our Hold on the Planet" - Robert Frost There is much in nature against us. But we forget: Take nature altogether since time began, Including human nature, in peace and war, And it must be a little more in favor of man, Say a fraction of one percent at the very least, Or our number living wouldn't be steadily more, Our hold on the planet wouldn't have so increased. |

I thought I would stop in and say "hi" over here. I just saw this thread, and I thought I would be friendly and stop in for a cup of java. Or, I might ask Britty to show me the correct etiquette in enjoying a "spot of tea"... I have one belief (among many) pertaining to my personal faith. I do not think I should ever get caught up in an argument concerning my faith. To me, it does no effectual good to argue one's point openly and (to me) rather foolishly in a public setting (like in forums...LOL). I will always be a Christian man, I do not think that will ever change. I love thinking about God, and praying to God, and sometimes just sitting back in awe as God does something spectacular with my life. I write songs about my faith and my experiences as a Christian, and I like to sing them and play my guitar for the Lord. I also like to play the Native American flute and close my eyes and think about God. In my life, my faith brings me comfort and a pray to visualize survival in the future. It also gives me hope of an life after I depart from this present human body. In my faith, I will make heaven my home one day as long as I keep walking the narrow path as best I can. So, pulling up a chair, I sit down at the table with other friends to discuss your religions. I like to learn new things, and try to understand how people think and believe even if I do not agree for there ways for my life, I am still a gentleman no matter what folks believe. Jim "TelephoneMan" <-- pulls out guitar and hits somethin' in a G |

I loved those pics TelephoneMan...beautiful...I love waterfalls...love taking the extra hikes to go find them (of course the scenic nature along the way I spot :) is wonderful too). Some on here might know I'm a photography nut...especially nature and the pic above is one of my favorite pics of the Hidden Falls at Jenny Lake in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. I have a few other (okay quite a few) pictures of the area and the surrounding area. I haven't loaded new ones on in awhile but am planning on doing so tonight. I love taking pictures so its a lot but the one above and the new ones I'm putting on tonight are some of my favorite ones :D. My joy of God's wonders is enjoying playing the flute, singing, and enjoying His natural wonder to its fullest. |
