Unfortunately I have seen many die alone, and the look in the eyes, haunts me.

Living alone is worse -- dying, well, once you're dead, it really doesn't matter....

Living alone sucks, but I think dying alone...taking your last breaths with no one there to hold you must be torture Taking your last breaths with regrets I think would be more torture...one can have no one at bedside with them and still die with no regrets and happy at that.
