 Have you ever been afraid to open up to someone that likes you because you were worried that they would be disapointed once they got to know you better? How does someone deal with that?
Then you start finding faulta in them to try to bring them to a level where you could open up to them, but then you end up finding too many faults and lose interest in them? |

my reason is more about sensativities...it is like the more you open up the more they have to hold against you or something... I am carefull with what I talk about.

It is the fear of rejection. It sucks when someone doesn't like you. But.....you keep moving on.
Not really fear of rejection ,more like a fear of disappointing. I know, its weird but thats what im feeling.

It's more like when I talk to people I am sure the next thing they find out about me will be the big turnoff. So, I have found myself not wanting to get to know anyone on a one on one basis. |

Fear of rejection, fear of disappointing, fear of ridicule, fear of the "big NO"........they're different sides of the same coin - fear of being hurt. If someone comes up with a pill that cures it I'll buy two.
