Earlier while I was in the forums I ws redirected to a sponsor survey. Is that normal?

You're not the only one. I thought I hit something. That happened three times to me. Once I said skip add, the page took me to the previous page I looked at instead of the page I was on then.

It wouldn't have been so annoying if I had been offered the option to fill it out or return to forums,but I was completely redirected away from the mingle site and had to close and reopen.

That's odd, as we should not have any ads which automatically redirect a user away from our site. Are you guys certain that you did not accidentally click on a normal ad?

Happens all the time here too.Even get emails from men saying thanks for emailing,Witch I didn't.This sight is all haywire.

i got a walmart smiley talking to me that wont shut up
and i did not click it.. and the ads are covering my tabs too..oops not anymore hes been gagged and the tabs are visible

I was redirected to another site last night also, & the talking walmart ad is VERY obnoxious! I was trying out Mingle again, but now I am back on JSH. If I have to put up with that, & the eye straining Halloween theme, I doubt you'll see me much after JSH closes down. I have tried to be open minded & not complain, but these aggressive ads will be the last straw for me. I'd rather pay a small membership fee than put up with that.

sometimes if you hestitate when scrolling over the ads on the top of the page they will open up automatically, that has happened onmore than one occassion to me

No i didn't click on a normal add. Hasn't happened since but I am getting the adds that open when I scroll down to read the replies in a topic.

We will be on the lookout for auto-redirecting ads, but we're fairly certain that no such ads are being served.
